Good looking for wedding I bought this for my ring bearer. He looked very nice in it, and it appeared to stand up to the playing he did before the wedding. It doesn't have a jacket, so it is a little less formal than an actual tux, but that didn't matter to me.
Great product I've had several Moms ask me where I purchased this cover. My husband and I love it. It is easy to get on and off, which is important when you have a little one.
Runs Small We ordered this 2T size for our 23 month old and it doesn't fit. It is more like an 18 month size. I don't think we'll pay [...] to order a larger size (we already washed the 2T size so can't return it), but if we did we'd probably jump all the way to 4T to fit a 2 year old. Sizing is just way off, otherwise it is a cute product.
10,9,8....Blast Off I gave my 4 year old grandson this gift for his birthday and he was wild about it. It seems very sturdy, has room for imagination and even though it needs 2 AA batteries, it needed no batteries for him to start playing with it once I got it out of the box. His 2 1/2 year old brother was happy to play with some of the characters as well and they immediately started off with their rocket adventure. The small pieces were not so small as to worry me with the younger child and they were sturdy enough to withstand a momentary bout with the year old retriever who wanted to get in on the play. Once we dipped it in hot soapy water to clean it off, it was as good as new and ready for play.
I'm very glad I purchased this item for my grandson.
It might SOOTHE, but won't CURE colic... I only gave it 4 stars since this only seemed to work SOME of the time. We got it as a promo deal before the product hit the market, and we were asked to test it on our colic-y baby. Well, if you have a colic-y baby, you probably already know that everything you try might work for a while, but then you still have a colic-y baby after a few days. This pad seemed to stimulate her to produce burps, spit, and BMs, which, I guess is helpful if your baby's colic is stemmed from gas or intestinal issues. It certainly wasn't the sure-fire ticket to relieving her of fussiness or US of stress.
It was a little bulky and uneasy to use - alligning baby tummy w/ the massagers and leaving it in positon over your shoulder while holding baby. We tried the lap method, but our baby always hated tummy time, so that never really went over well with her either.
All in all, have realistic expectations for this product - it's not going to CURE colic, but might assist in relieving it for a while - I think the price is a little steep for what it actually does, esp since finger massage and bicycle legs work just as effectively for baby.
The best product we found to help with colic was a baby sling Balboa Baby Adjustable Sling by Dr. Sears - Flower - this hot little item was a LIFESAVER!
