Huggies vs Pampers Ahh, the ultimate controversy. I feel like I've graduated from college to adult when the hot topic with my friends has changed from 'boxers vs briefs' to 'huggies vs pampers'.
We did stage our own version of the Pepsi Challenge, and purchased Huggies, Papers, Luvs and even some other random brand I found in our local grocery store. Huggies wins hands down. Luvs leaked all the time, and was even kind of scratchy. Pampers was nice and soft, but also leaked. For us, Huggies has never leaked. The elastic bands around the legs fit well, the diapers are soft enough to not bother my son. We've used Huggies from size NB up to 3 so far and have still preferred Huggies in each size range.
Within the Huggies line, I prefer the Ultra-trim (which I guess is being called something else now?) over the Huggies Supreme. The Supreme were extra padded and tended to bunch up. They didn't leak, but they just weren't as comfortable for my son's frenzied activity level.
As for fit, my son has always been small for his age (10th percentile in weight, 60th percentile in height), so I'm not sure if that makes any difference... maybe pampers works better for chunky kids? Which opens up another age old controversy "does size really matter"? But that's a conversation for another day.
Order Up Love this little romper. In AZ, summer is basically 9mo out of the year. This is great for warm Spring/Summer weather-just the right weight fabric. Washes well-doesn't bleed too much or fall apart. Haven't noticed any shrinking after being in the dryer either.
The little flower is like felt, so it's in the perfect spot. As my 3mo old lets her hands fall in her lap-she feels the flower* My child was not quite 3mo old when I ordered-but she was 15-1/2lbs already, so I ordered the 3-6mo size...definitely has lots of room to grow into it! If you want something to fit Now-order the next size up from what the chart advises.
That scrunchie is big enough for a toddler or girl-I don't plan on using it...but the romper itself is great*
Fun Animals. I like the how the top sheet attaches like the bottom sheet at the base of the matress. Seems durable and I love the animal pictures. My daughter likes picking out the animals and naming them.
The BEST organic baby food As a BUSY mother of 4 I'm so thankful to have finally found a baby food that my kids LOVE! I used to buy the organic jar food at the grocery store, but by 8 months all my boys refused it and I had to find creative alternative finger food and that was tough since they were still so young. Now that I have tried Jack's Harvest side by side with the competition jar food I used to use, I know understand why my kids stopped eating baby food so early. There is no comparison. Jack's Harvest actually tastes like the fruit or vegetable while the competition was absolutely bland and tasteless. If you are interested in a healthy, organic start for your child, then the ONLY choice is Jack's Harvest!
Awesome! Fantastic product. We went to New York City in January and wouldn't have been able to bring the baby outside without it (high temp didn't get above 25 the whole time we were there). Lots of people made comments about how warm she looked. Would definitely recommend!
